About
Devon McConnell
Executive Coach
Devon coaches CEOs and executives who want to achieve greater impact and feel more energized. Together they work to build presence that has influence while better managing conflict and avoiding burnout. Her proven three-part coaching method clarifies intention, refocuses attention, and takes action.
Before becoming an executive coach, Devon spent twenty years as a Fortune 50 executive, holding roles as the Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer of the Americas at BlackRock and Head of Digital at Wells Fargo Advisors. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MA in Counseling and is a certified Executive Coach from Columbia University. She is also a psychotherapist and a Ph.D candidate at the University of Oxford leading research on the intersection of work and mental health, based on trends she has seen with therapy and coaching clients.
Always up for an adventure, and a certified Wilderness First Responder, she has trekked thousands of miles inn-to-inn, hut-to-hut, and backpacking. She served as a trained volunteer counselor at San Francisco’s crisis line where she helped community members in their most vulnerable moments and is a longtime yoga & meditation teacher for stress management (RYT-500).
Devon is based in San Francisco and works with clients globally.
